Happy Holidays and New Year!
This year has been full of so many wonderful and positive experiences and personal goals being met. It is a truthful statement when I write that the positive outweighed the negative. And for this I am grateful!
The release of Influence of Place, September 2019, my first full length published poetry collection, was monumentally special and overall amazing! Having tabored to write a work that I felt I wanted, needed to share, with a broader community, and then to have it so well received, has been humbling and satisfying.
It has been wonderful to share and to hear from people in different audiences about the collection, and that so many were eager to take one, two or three copies of Influence of Place afterwards.
It has been and continues to be work to get the work out into the world to a wider audience. As the year comes to a close I am in the planning process and confirming process for upcoming book reading and signings events.
As I look forward to the New Year I do so with hope and aspiration to continue to reach for the goal of continuing to make Influence of Place a success. And to hear readers on their experience with the collection.
I am also looking forward to a much needed break from the road, screens and daily routine life. I will take the rest of the year and a week or two in the New Year off and take a deep breath and find some headspace to begin thinking, processing, and working on the next writing project.
I don’t think that it can be said enough by me how grateful I am for the wonderful year, two years, that I have had in realizing my goal as a published author. And I wish that others have found their success(es) this year and in the New Year! Keep reaching for your dreams, they are waiting for you!
All the best of everything wonderful and positive,
Ernestine Louise
